SCMOTION, the control system of Shinco Robots, is built on the CodeSys programming environment compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standard. It supports various robot configurations and customized developments, and adopts the optimal velocity planning algorithm. The system enables multi-machine control, with over 95% of its interfaces fully open. All source code for the state machine is accessible. Customers can independently develop their own PLC programs, and direct data interaction is available between the PLC and robot control modules.

System Overview

Software and Communication

The display unit adopts Linux system based on ARM platform.

The controller is equipped with 64-bit real-time Linux OS on x86 platform.

The PLC section runs on CODESYS and supports multiple PLC programming languages including ST, Ladder Diagram and Sequential Function Chart.

For communication, it supports master and slave modes of EtherCAT, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP, as well as EthernetIP, CAN and other communication protocols.
